Home of the Cougars and Warriors
Welcome to the Baboquivari Secondary Campus website! We are located in Topawa, Arizona, on the Tohono O’odham Nation, approximately one and a half hours southwest of Tucson.
Our high school and middle school’s philosophy is based on "educating the whole person—academically, emotionally, socially, and culturally," and has proved to be a winning belief.
Here at Baboquivari Secondary Campus, we are proud of our native heritage and seek to inspire and educate students not only in the Arizona State Standards, but also in their Himdag—the cultural beliefs that the Tohono O’odham live by. We offer small class sizes perfect for hands-on experiential learning and quality one-to-one time with faculty and staff.
Spend some time getting to know us. We know you’ll like what you find.
Our Vision Statement
Our graduates will acquire the knowledge and skills to excel, develop their strengths, embrace their individual and cultural identities, and lead their communities.

A Message from Our Principal
Hello Baboquivari Secondary Campus Students, Parents & Guardians!
Welcome to the 2025–2026 school year at Baboquivari Secondary Campus! I hope this letter finds you enjoying a restful and memorable summer with family and friends. It brings me great joy to return as the principal and to welcome both our returning families and those who are new to our Baboquivari community.
This year, we proudly embrace the theme “Unlocking Potential, Achieving Success.” This reflects our commitment to supporting every student as they discover their strengths, overcome challenges, and reach new levels of academic and personal achievement. We believe that with the right support, environment, and encouragement, every learner can thrive.
Our dedicated team of educators and staff has been working hard to create a learning environment where students feel empowered, valued, and inspired to grow. We will continue to provide opportunities that challenge our students, build resilience, and prepare them for success in school, in life, and beyond.
We also invite you to visit our campus and connect with our leadership team:
- Alan Dalton, Assistant Principal of Curriculum and Instruction
- Robert Russell, Assistant Principal of Operations and Student Services
We believe that strong school-family partnerships are essential to student success. Your involvement, whether through communication, volunteering, or simply encouraging your child at home makes a powerful difference in their educational journey.
Thank you for being part of the Baboquivari family. Let’s work together to unlock every student’s potential and celebrate the successes that lie ahead. I look forward to a year of growth, connection, and achievement.
Sincerely,
Constance Onsae
