CTE
Baboquivari High School is a member public school district of the Pima Joint Technical Education District (Pima JTED). Pima JTED is a public career and technical education (CTE) district that provides CTE programs to approximately 22,000 10th through 12th grade students who are enrolled in public, private, charter, and homeschools.

AgriScience
Prepares students an overview of the fields of agricultural science, animal science, plant science, and soil science; animal husbandry, soil conservation, and agriculture operations such as farming, ranching, agricultural business, and natural resources.

Automotive Technologies
Culinary Arts
Prepares students to apply technical knowledge and skills required for food production and service occupations in commercial foodservice establishments.

Digital Communication
Prepares students to gather, process, and deliver news through a variety of print and online formats including newspapers, magazines, journals, annual publications, weblogs (blogs), and other traditional and new media platforms.

Digital Photography
Prepares students to use technical expertise, creativity, and composition skills to produce and preserve images that communicate information, convey ideas, moods and feelings, tell a story, or record an event.

Home Health Aide
Prepares individuals to provide routine care and support services for homebound disabled, recovering, or elderly people. This program includes instruction in basic nutrition, home sanitation, infection control, first aid, taking vital signs, personal hygiene, interpersonal communication skills, supervised home management, emergency recognition and referral, geriatric care, and legal and ethical responsibilities.

Career and Technical Student Organizations
Currently, more than 55,000 students are participating in Career and Technical Student Organizations (CTSOs). These dynamic organizations develop academic success through applied academics, promotion of choice, and identification of career options while fostering interpersonal skills in teamwork, communications, human relations, and social interactions. CTSOs encourage excellence in scholarship; build character; promote citizenship, volunteerism, and patriotism; endorse cooperation and cooperative attitudes among all people; and provide opportunities for state, national, and international travel through internships, camps, and leadership conferences. The six Arizona CTSOs are DECA, FBLA, FCCLA, FFA, HOSA, and SkillsUSA.

FBLA: Future Business Leaders of America
FBLA is the largest and oldest business student organization in the world, with a quarter million students preparing for careers in business and business-related fields.

FCCLA helps young people become leaders with student-directed learning in Family and Consumer Sciences (FACS) education in the areas of culinary arts, early childhood education, education professions, fashion design and merchandising, hospitality management, and interior design.

FFA: Future Farmers of America
FFA was founded to prepare future generations for the challenges of feeding a growing population. FFA continues to help the next generation rise up to meet those challenges by helping its members to explore their interests in a broad range of career pathways, including biologists, chemists, veterinarians, engineers, and entrepreneurs.

HOSA is a student-led Career and Technical Student Organization that provides a unique program of leadership development, motivation, and recognition for middle school, secondary, postsecondary, and collegiate students interested in a healthcare career.

SkillsUSA is a partnership of students, teachers, and industry members working together to ensure America has a skilled workforce. We help each student excel. A nonprofit national education association, SkillsUSA serves middle school, high school, and college/postsecondary students preparing for careers in trade, technical, and skilled service occupations.
